Schmid and Arsutoria together at Lineapelle

The Milan school of design and modelling of shoes and handbags took centre stage at our stand during the three days of the trade fair

The collaboration continues between Schmid and Arsutoria, the Milan school of design and modelling of shoes and handbags. The results of this fruitful and consolidated partnership were seen and appreciated at the last edition of Lineapelle. Indeed, the best creations of the school’s young designers were on display at our stand during the three days of the trade fair.

The students of Arsutoria freely used some of the materials featured in the new SS 2018 collection of Schmid, effectively playing with shapes, colours and volumes. The result: three different models of shoes and two of leather goods.

Shoes for men and women

In the models for women, feminine materials were used such as ottoman, satin with a floral motif and lace on tulle. For men, instead, Arsutoria designers opted for a sneaker with camo motif jacquard denim and nylon taffeta.

“Futuristic” leather goods

Leather goods creations were characterised by the choice of fresh and modern designs: indeed, the handbag was made entirely of striped grosgrain. Futuristic – and thus in line with one of the trends of the new SS 2018 collection of Schmid – is the backpack with carbon fibre inserts and polyurethane laminate.
