Natural fibres, Schmid’s new proposals
The product range for spring/summer 2016 widens. The colour cards of the new canvas, linen-cotton blend and denim have been sent to all our clients
Canvas, linen-cotton blend and denim are Schmid’s natural-fibre fabrics that complete the spring/summer 2016 collection presented in Milan during Lineapelle. They are traditional products that have been re-engineered and presented with new colours and finishings. The goal? Stimulate further the creativity of designers and offer solutions in line with the next season’s trends.
Under the sign of cotton…
Among these is a 100% cotton canvas, available in 12 different colours, ranging from natural and vivid colours to the more traditional brown, grey and black, with anti-unthreading and backed options. Big canvas, entirely produced with twisted cotton yarns and offering a more conspicuous structure with a honeycomb effect, is available in 12 different colour tones, natural, fresh, seasonal and classic with anti-unthreading and backed finishing. For those seeking a more sophisticated product, Schmid offers a linen-cotton blend: a higher-quality fabric with slubs, made with mixed yarn comprising 60% linen and 40% cotton. The fabric is available in 16 colour variations (natural, bright and classic) and with anti-unthreading and backed versions.
…without forgetting denim
Then there is also a product that never goes out of fashion: denim. The fabric designed by Schmid is made with a modern twill weave and four colours: taupe, blue denim, light blue denim and black with anti-unthreading and backed versions.
Its characteristic? A vintage look, obtained from special washing treatments and not a simple dye.
The colour cards of the new natural-fibre fabrics have just been sent to our clients and all the products are currently available at our headquarters. As always, Schmid is ready to accept and satisfy bespoke or specific client requests.
