The spring/summer 2018 collection, stemming from the collaboration between Schmid and some famous experts in Italian and international fashion, has identified two trends, Futuristic and Naturalia.
- The Futuristic trend is innovative, modern and visionary. It is thoroughly minimalist with an athletic and high tech touch. It is characterized by iridescent colours as well as glassy and rubbery materials.
- The Naturalia trend instead evokes the Earth. It is characterized by surfaces and textures that explicitly recall natural shapes and structures. Subdued and earthy colours prevail, while cotton plays a central part among materials.
