The fall/winter collection 2016-17, created thanks to a close collaboration between Schmid and a professional agency of experts who are very well known in the Italian and international fashion industry, identifies four main trends for the next season:
- Blend: preppy outdoor casual, a formal eclectic mixing of signature formality of the british country with tweeds and threads.
- Groove: rhythmic feel of swing. Vigorous bright blues and greys moving to transparency and neon lights
- Power Gender: oscillating extravagance for sophisticated metropolitan warriors. Exploring the depth of neutral blacks, solid greys, layers of metal.
- Dessert: highly sweet and shallow decorative imagery for sensual female attitude. The celebration of excess. Hybrid palette combining an intriguing mix of artificial and syntetic tones.
