Leather goods: soon a selection of the best lining products

In June, nearly 100 clients will receive a selection of products for lining handbags, including a large range of satins as well as natural and technical fabrics

«Our focus isn’t only on footwear. Another market in which we believe strongly is large leather goods», says chairman and chief executive Paolo Ciccarelli, explaining the choice of offering a select range of the best products to make handbag lining. In the coming days, this exclusive selection will be sent to about 100 clients in Italy and overseas. Among the cherrypicked products  will be natural fabrics, such as cotton and viscose, evergreens, such as satin, and technical products such as nylon and microfibres.

Growing in the leather goods industry

Silvio La Cava, Schmid’s sales manager for Italy, explains this decision. «We have in house excellent items used by leather good producers. Through this initiative we want to boost awareness and enable other clients to discover them. Obviously, we are ready to accept and satisfy any request customizing our materials. Leather goods represent a very interesting field for Schmid, that offers good development potential and in which we want to continue growing».
